Fossil Bay is a residential development shaped around the coastal character of Earnley, bringing together contemporary homes and a strong sense of place rooted in the natural landscape of the West Sussex coastline.

The name draws on something real. The shoreline around Earnley and the Witterings sits above the Earnley Formation – one of the most fossiliferous stretches of coastline in the country, laid down when this part of southern England was a warm, shallow bay teeming with life. 

The development takes its cue from that layered, considered character. With an emphasis on quality and clarity, Fossil Bay balances everyday residential living and a remarkable coastal setting.

My studio was commissioned to develop a site identity for Fossil Bay, creating a visual language that reflected both the natural heritage of the location and the considered character of the development. The identity was applied across on-site touchpoints, helping to establish a clear, cohesive presence and support the launch of the scheme.
